In December 2016 the active members of Education Matters met to discuss projects of the passing year, make plans for 2017 and improve our strategies in a detailed agenda.

The results of the day where a template for letters to companies, improvements on the homepage and multiple specific mails to sponsors. Additionally we came up with some interesting projects for the years to come. At this point we want to emphasise the idea to start a sponsorship program in Tanzania with our exchange program partners. This idea was widely accepted and it was decided to work on this idea in the upcoming year.

Furthermore we decided to cover costs of german language courses for students who will possibly benefit from this additional qualification in the future. Two children have already expressed interest.

We did not find time to cover all topics on our list in the one day we had and much will be discussed in our following monthly meetings.
