Success Story Vincent Muwonge

Vincent Muwonge joined Education Matters 7 years ago, when he was in the fifth grade of primary school at the Divine Mission Junior School. He was taken into the sponsorship program of our organization, as he is an orphan child and the people he lived with couldn’t afford his school fees anymore. Since then, Education Matters took over his school fees at the Divine Mission Junior School.

With support from the organization Education Matters and her unwavering determination, she successfully completed her studies in Hotel Management, unlocking new career opportunities in the tourism industry.

Mwajib, who grew up in the Katwe slum in Kampala, resumed her education through the Education Matters sponsorship program in 2016 after financial struggles interrupted her schooling. After completing a bachelor's degree in accounting and business management in 2022, she continued her education and now works as an accountant at a school, managing finances and overseeing the campus' food supply sustainability.
